Members of City's boards and commissions are one of the City of Greenville's most important assets - citizens willing to share their time and effort for the benefit of our community. Members are charged with advising and making recommendations to Mayor and City Council, and are responsible for many tasks, from nominating buildings to the National Register of Historic Places, to deciding zoning appeals. There are boards available for persons interested in tourism, beautification, elections, planning and development, and many other important local issues.
City of Greenville board and commission members do make a difference! If you would like more information about how you can join the City's team and help make decisions that affect City government, please contact the City Clerk at 467-4431.
All appointments to City Boards and Commissions are made on an equal opportunity basis. The City of Greenville does not discriminate on the basis of race, sex, religion or creed.
