Knox H. White has been Mayor of the City of Greenville since 1995. A cornerstone of his leadership has been advancing neighborhood initiatives, neighborhood revitalization, and involving citizens in city government.
His most ambitious project has been reclaiming the birthplace of Greenville, the historic Reedy River Falls, and the creation of a world-class public garden along the river. Mayor White is a partner in the law firm of Haynsworth, Sinkler & Boyd, where he heads the Firm’s immigration and customs practices.
A native of Greenville, Mayor White graduated from Christ Church Episcopal School, Greenville Senior High School, Wake Forest University, and the University of South Carolina School of Law. Mayor White is married to Marsha P. White and they have two children. He is a member of Christ Church Episcopal, North Greenville Rotary, Board of Visitors of the University Center of Greenville, and serves on the Boards of The Peace Center for the Performing Arts and the Commission of Public Works.

both bachelor's and Master's degrees. She is Professional Employment
Recruiter for Greenville County Schools, where she was formerly a
teacher for 23 years.
Elected to City Council in 1981, Lillian also served as the President of the Municipal Association of South Carolina, representative to National League of Cities, formerly a member of
Furman University Board of Trustees and past president of the
Greenville County Education Association. She is currently Chair of the
Boards of Directors of Brockwood Senior Housing, the Southernside Community Center, and a Commission for Donaldson Center. Brockwood is a
elderly housing development named in honor of her late mother, Lila Mae
Brock.
Other service includes Greenville Democratic Women, Southernside Neighborhoods in Action, Phillis Wheatley Postfellows, National Education Association, Advance South Carolina, and numerous other committees. She is a member of Mountain View Baptist Church. Lillian has received numerous awards and honors including Furman's Baptist Heritage Award, Greenville County's Human Relations Cooper White Humanitarian Award, W.F. Gibson NAACP's Leadership Award, Old Ninety Six Girl Scout's Regional Woman of Distinction Award, SC Baptist Education & Missionary Convention's Political Action Award, honored on
Bell South's Black History Calendar, Outstanding Black American,
Outstanding Young Woman of America, Outstanding Secondary Educator of
America, Teacher of the Year for Southside High School, Finalist for
Greenville County School's Teacher of the Year, and many other awards
and honors.

C. Diane Smock graduated magna cum laude from the University of Georgia in 1974 with a degree in political science and received a law degree from the University of Virginia in 1979. She practiced law in Greenville from 1980 to 1990 and served as Greenville County Probate Judge from 1991 until 1999.
Elected to City Council in November 2001, she has served on the boards of over 20 organizations in Greenville County. She currently chairs the Board of the Greenville YMCA, the local advisory board of Wachovia Bank, and co-chairs Greenville Dreams, an initiative of the Greenville United Way. She is a former member of the South Carolina Mental Health Commission, a former member of the Greenville Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors, and served as President of the South Carolina Probate Judges Association. Ms. Smock has received numerous honors, including the Order of the Jessamine, Who's Who in American Law, Outstanding Board Member of the Greenville YMCA and was named as one of Greenville's 50 most influential leaders by Greenville Magazine.

Susan Reynolds is a graduate of J.L. Mann High School and Presbyterian College. She is the mother of two children and a member of the Fourth Presbyterian Church where she has served as a Sunday School teacher and on the Building Committee and the Board of Deacons.
Ms. Reynolds has served on the Board of Directors for the Greenville Convention and Visitors Bureau, the YWCA, The Warehouse Theater, and Clement's Kindness. She has also been involved with the Downtown Business Association, Augusta Road Business Association, Co-chair of the Committee to Restore Sirrine Stadium, Professional Women's Forum, South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners, IRC Committee of the South Carolina Board of Medical Examiners, Metropolitan Arts Council, "Bring the Arts to Life" committee, CEO Roundtable, Greenville Chamber of Commerce, United Way Coordinator for Retail Businesses, Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Unit at Greenville Memorial Hospital, and St. Francis Hospital, Franciscan Forum, Class II.
Ms. Reynolds owned the Alley Cat Women's Shop from 1988 to 2006 and was the 2003 recipient of the Leukemia Foundation "Woman of the Year." Ms. Reynolds is beginning her first term in Greenville City Council.

Amy Ryberg Doyle is beginning her first term on Greenville City Council. A graduate of Aiken High School and Boston College, she has worked with ivillage.com, Inc., Fidelity Investments, ingredients.com, Inc., and is a long time employee of The Depot Food Stores, Inc., a family owned business. Mrs. Ryberg Doyle serves as a Sunday School Teacher at St. Mary's Catholic Church, is on the Board of Directors for The Children's Museum, and is a member of Junior League of Greenville where she serves as editor of VISIONS magazine. She has previously served as a mentor for the "I Have a Dream Foundation" in New York City and has taught English as a secondary language at St. Francis Xavier in New York City. Mrs. Ryberg Doyle is married and the mother of three children.

Chandra E. Dillard is the Director of Community Relations for Furman University. She is a graduate of Leadership Greenville XXVI, Diversity Leadership Academy of the Riley Institute at Furman University 2004, and Leadership South Carolina 2006.
Elected for her first term to City Council in 1999, Chandra became the first woman elected to represent District 3. Chandra is the City's liaison to the Greenville Housing Authority and is a current member of the University Center Board of Visitors, Greenville County United Way Board, Phillis Wheatley Association Board, Junior League of Greenville Advisory Board, Municipal Association of South Carolina Board, Conference of Black Municipal elected officials of South Carolina (CBMEO) as President, Greater Greenville Chamber of Commerce Board of Governors, Bank of Travelers Rest (Downtown Branch) Advisory Board, Sterling School /Improvement Council, Cherrydale Area Council, and Travelers Rest Business Association (program chair). She attends John Wesley United Methodist Church and is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.

A graduate of Clemson University with a BS degree in Financial Management (1990-Magna Cum Laude), and a Masters in Business Administration (1998). David has been employed with Bon Secours St. Francis Health System as Director of Finance since 1996. He was elected to Greenville City Council in 2005.
From 1982-1986, he served in the United States Navy achieving the rank of Petty Officer Second Class. David is a life-long resident of Greenville County and a graduate of Leadership Greenville Class XXV.
David served on the Greenville County Library Board from 1997-2005 and served as Chairman for 3 consecutive years. He is past President of the North Greenville Rotary Club and Leadership Greenville Alumni Board. He currently serves on the Peace Center Board of Directors, the Hands on Greenville Advisory Board, the St. Francis Foundation Steering Committee and the diaconate at Augusta Road Baptist Church.
