The mission of the Fleet and Safety Services Division is to maintain the City Fleet of vehicles and motorized equipment in a safe and efficient manner. Some of the Divisions specific tasks include:

• The development of specifications for new vehicle purchases

• Repair and maintain the City vehicles

• Managing the cellular telephone and pager program

• Managing repair of the two-way radio system

• Responsibility for Public Works Supply operations and Public Works Safety and Training
