yard waste collection
The City will collect your yard waste on the same collection day as your garbage and recycling. To ensure collection, place proper materials at the curb by 7:00 a.m. Place your items in separate piles at least 3 feet away from other obstacles such as mailboxes, utility poles, and automobiles. The City will collect: grass clippings, leaves, limbs (no longer than 6 feet long or 6 inches in diameter). Please keep leaves separate from branches and limbs. Mulch is available by calling 297-8558.

Special Seasonal Yard Waste
Collection Tips:

  • Don't bag it! LEAF it at the curb. Please help us with our collection services by not bagging any yard debris. Thank you!
  • Keep leaves separate from branches and limbs

  • Consider Composting! Call 467.8300 for more information
  • Don't pile leaves or yard debris on water meters, sewer cleanout pipes, or next to signs, fences or mailboxes
  • Don't cause clogs by piling leaves near storm drains, inlets, culverts or ditches
  • For safety, in dry weather dampen your piles of leaves with water prior to collection
