Plan Adoption

We need your support for the HIV/AIDS Housing Plan.

• Fostering of housing plan provides needed support and encouragement for the community's efforts in addressing the housing needs of those with HIV/AIDS and their families.
• A proactive method for leadership to promote the plan

• Local Adoption of the Upstate HIV/AIDS Housing Plan will allow leveraging of resources to address local housing needs.
• With your support, the Upstate EMSA can demonstrate local leadership's proactive approach to HIV/AIDS by increasing housing quality and affordability with local partners to offer adequate assisted living or skilled nursing. Encouragement by the Upstate HIV/AIDS Housing Plan Steering Committee will increase the public's awareness and education of HIV/AIDS. Increasing the awareness of HIV/AIDS will reduce the stigma that often inaccurately depicts individuals living with HIV/AIDS.
