The mission of the Community Development Division is to improve the quality of life for low and moderate income City of Greenville residents. Community Development facilitates meaningful programs which address the root causes of poverty and need. Our approach involves the participation of all community stakeholders in the development and implementation of programs and projects. Each Community Development activity is defined as "community-owned" due to such diverse and thorough input during need assessment, development, implementation and evaluation of each activity.
