The City of Greenville invites competitive proposals from interested parties for the leasing of the City-owned facilities at 601 Green Avenue, 813 Hampton Avenue and 218 Viola Street. The City of Greenville is seeking a partnership with non-profit organizations to lease the space under specific, neighborhood-derived conditions in order to assist in the future enhancement of the community.
The facilities are focal points for the neighborhoods regarding the delivery of quality services, resource identification and resident activities. After careful review and deliberation, the Community Development Advisory Committee and neighborhood leaders have determined it beneficial to seek out compatible organizations as lease holders of the facilities. The goal is to offer leases to active, well-managed organizations that will maintain the facilities, coordinate the services of other providers, maintain resource stations and accommodate neighborhood resident access in exchange for a $1.00 annual lease rate.
The deadline for submission of an RFP (Request for Purchase) is 5 p.m., Friday, February 1, 2008.
