The 2008 Christmas Project

On behalf of the Streets, Storm Drains, and Sanitary Sewer Division, Anthony Holiday presented $100 to the Shriner’s Children Hospital, to a beautiful little girl name Morgan (at left).

Charles Anderson also presented $100 to St. Anthony’s Gallivan Center to Father Patrick (bottom right), and Joe Weber presented $100 the Angel Tree Foundation. Our 2008 Christmas Fund recipients received a total of $300.

Father Patrick said they give out over 800 bags of groceries a week and that the City’s gift was a tool for them to do more. He added “Merry Christmas and a blessed Holiday season to all."

On behalf of Joe Weber, he would like to say thank you for going above and beyond the call of duty. The funds were raised by Public Works employees during their safety meetings throughout the year.
